Coco de Mer Hotel & Black Parrot Suites is a four-star boutique hotel on Anse Bois de Rose on the south-west coast of Praslin, set in extensive tropical grounds named for the famous coco de mer palm. The main hotel welcomes couples and families; the adjacent Black Parrot junior-suite wing sits on a granite outcrop with its own pool and bar and is reserved for adults.
There are 52 rooms and suites: Standard and Superior rooms in the main hotel, plus 12 Black Parrot Junior Suites. Dining includes the Hibiscus Restaurant and Mango Terrace Bar and Grill, with the Black Parrot Bar for junior-suite guests. Three pools include a coco-de-mer-shaped pool and an over-ocean saltwater pool. Praslin Airport is about 15 minutes by road; Mahé is about 15 minutes by air or about an hour by high-speed ferry.

Black Parrot Junior Suites are the natural fit: adults-only wing, private pool and bar, and wide sea views. Ask us about honeymoon extras for your dates.
Standard and Superior rooms welcome children; interconnecting Superior rooms help larger families. There is a paddling pool. There is no large kids' club on the current factsheet, so ask us if you need a fuller family programme on Praslin.
The Waterfront Spa sits under the Black Parrot pool terrace with three treatment rooms and views over the ocean. Massages, facials, wraps and beauty treatments use locally inspired oils. Ask us for the current menu.
