Boston

Boston is one of the oldest cities in the USA and has a storied history to match. The city was founded in 1630 by English settlers, and over the years became a destination for Irish immigrants, which contributed to Boston’s unique accent and culture. The city played an important part in the American Revolution – its most famous contribution was the Boston Tea Party where rebels through a shipment of East India Company tea into the harbour.
Today, the city is home to some of the country’s most prestigious educational institutions including Harvard University. Thousands of people also flock to the city each year for the Boston Marathon.
One of the most popular attractions is the Faneuil Hall marketplace, and another great stop is the Quincy Marketplace. Visitors can also visit cultural attractions such as the Museum of Fine Arts, the Boston Public Garden, the Old North Church and the Museum of Science.
