We has the most amazing time at Lux Belle Mare. My boyfriend took me here for my 25th birthday in June 2022 and it was the most memorable trip. From the minute we arrived, we could not believe the most wholesome treatment we received. The staff really make the place what it is and deserve every piece of recognition. The most humble hospitality, it was beyond what we could imagine. If we could list every staff member we truly would! But special shout out to Elvis, Bilal, Oliver, Sahil, Mohan, Beedyasee, Vikash, Ravin and especially Veena and Jennifer! They did all they could to make my birthday celebrations extra special by organising a birthday breakfast and cocktail making, and a stunning dinner at Amari. The rooms are stunning, the beaches are stunning. Beautiful water and white clean sand! Plenty of choice for food and the versatility of the buffet is the best you will have. We will DEFINITELY be back one day!!

Great relaxing stay

Amazing hotel, pool was great and food was very good. The activities were good for example learning to paint and the junk yard construction activities. Service was very good and Al a cartes were good. Beach was good too. Watersports team were great.

Mind-blowing stay!

My husband and I decided to book a two nights stay at Lux* with our 2 years old daughter and it was one of the best decision we made for our get away! It all started with the best welcoming staffs we had when we checked in. The warm atmosphere and smiles and attention all the staffs gave us all along the stay made it even more special. The view is awesome, the room is wonderful and the food esquise. Our toddler had the best time of her life enjoying ice cream all day long at the ice cream parlour and the pool of course. All the little goodies and the activities were absolutely lovely including the tea tasting, the lux Cafe, the rhum tasting, the wine tasting, the spa. Wow, from start to finish of our stay we were delighted! Thank you so much Lux. We will surely return. If you are looking for a great place to stay for your next get away or the next time you visit Mauritius - Lux is your best choice.

Exceptional honeymoon/babymoon location

We stayed at Lux Belle Mare almost a year ago on our honeymoon/babymoon and am only getting around to doing my review now! This was honestly the most fantastic hotel stay of our lives. All of the staff were amazing, in particular Elvis, Wardah, Jennifer, Ravin, Joyce, Priya, Alina, Sanjiv, Milan, Saleem, Poonam, Olivià and Vicky. Every day they were so helpful and friendly and made us feel part of there large family. Bring pregnant at the time everyone was so caring in making sure I was ok and got everything I needed. The wonderful chef who made me fresh porridge everyday! We both got multiple spa treatments which were fantastic, and the spa area was so peaceful. The pool and beach areas were both beautiful and it was difficult to decide where to set up for the day with the choice! The overall hygiene/cleanliness of the venue was perfect, and the room cleaners were brilliant and left us lovely messages daily on the bed! It was a nice touch! They also had great vegetarian options daily and were very good to ensure all meals were safe for pregnancy! We definitely will be back some day!

Absolutely Amazing

We stayed here in May and we absolutely loved it. The room was spacious, very clean and just fantastic. Our 7 year old had his own bathrobe and bed slippers. The food is beyond tasty and we thoroughly enjoyed the buffet each night. It really was Lux. We began planning right away to visit for a 2nd time and came on to put our reviews when we saw the information about the horrific fire and the hotel being destroyed. Glad to know all was safe but we are really sad that all these employees have now lost their jobs. If Lux Belle Mare rebuilds, we look forward to visiting again. It is one of the best holidays we have had and we have had some really nice ones. Our best wishes to the staff of Lux Belle Mare.
