The staff was very welcoming. Full details about our stay and security and amenities were provided. The employees are very polite and kind. The food was delicious, especially at Dolce Restaurant. The pizza was great!!! The night entertainment was so relaxing and had a great time at the pool. Will definitely re visit the hotel and will highly recommend! Thank you. We had a wonderful time at this hotel, the staff especially Ravi in the indigo restaurant did there upmost to make sure my husband got the gluten free food from the buffet as he’s a coeliac, also the dolce via staff again adapted there menu to also cater for him which was a huge relief for us. When we first arrived there was a slight mix up with which room we were in and the availability timing was quite long, that did not dampen the start to our holiday we just chilled in the bar. The sea view room was large, clean and comfortable, the view fantastic. The room was cleaned everyday and new towels provided. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, my massage in the spa was lovely and relaxing worth a visit. We went on the 5 island trip through Chris on the beach, had a fantastic time and would recommend him rather than the tui trip (tui rep not helpful or engaging). This was our honeymoon and we would definitely come back in the future.

Great resort in amazing beach / lagoon location!

Ambre is a great resort set along a lovely beach with palm trees and an amazing lagoon location. The staff are amazing here and really care about what they do. Special thanks to Roopesh (apologies on spelling!) who was a chef in the Indigo restaurant who went the extra mile to help me navigate the food with my lactose intolerance! The food was generally great and we didn't experience any issues with finding something to eat or eating healthily. The watersports were all great fun and beach volleyball in the evenings was a nice addition. Only negative point is the hotel rooms and some buildings look like they need quite a bit of maintenance coming up. We would book again and definitely would have stayed longer if we could!

Wow where do I start, we arrived approximately 7 am on 29th April .The journey from the airport was extremely picturesque, the majority of the journey was on the coastal road. Check in was quick and we were given cold face cloths to freshen us up and had to wait for our room, which we were well prepared for. We did not get changed when arriving, as my hand luggage with our change of clothes missed our fight, I did however buy a dress from the seller on the beach as it got extremely hot. We were given our room, which was a free upgrade to an ocean view room, even though the room was clean it did not have a balcony. I went to reception and there was no trouble whatsoever in changing. We did pay to upgrade with thanks to Vanessa, who was always friendly, approachable and did everything she could to make our stay an enjoyable one and she did not let us down. I must admit that the rooms were tired, but they were clean. The Italian restaurant is al la carté for lunch time and no booking is required. If you want to eat in there for dinner you can make bookings at 10 am. We dined there on my husband’s birthday, and it was lovely, they even had a birthday cake for him. The Plage (beach restaurant) turned into a fish restaurant in the evening, but during the day you could get fries, pizza and Salad with a glass of wine. Thanks to Kamlesh who was always there with a smile and a chat. We ate most of our meals in the Buffet restaurant, (Indigo) whether you are dining there at breakfast, lunch or dinner there was always plenty to choose from. You may have had to wait for tea/coffee, but it is expected when it is so busy. Anusha from the Indigo restaurant was also lovely, she always was pleased to see us and to have a friendly conversation. We also spent a lot of time on the beach where the staff from the TI bar served us, all were great, but I would like to say a big hello to Khosial, who made our stay enjoyable. The beach is stunning, the sea was warm, and we found it so relaxing sat in the sea, enjoying the moment. We booked the 5 Island trip with Chris who is on the beach, the trip was amazing , we saw monkeys, dolphins, turtles, a large waterfall, the lighthouse and lunch on the beach was good, and the speed boat was just phenomenal. When we were there TUI were advising their guests not to use Chris, I’d say use him, its all safe and insured, contrary to what TUI say. It is also the same with the Taxi desk at the hotel, we were told the other companies were not insured, but they are. We found a great driver Atish who can be contacted on Whatsapp +230 5 253 0976, Mobile +23057790976, email atish.chooramun or via facebook, I would most certainly recommend him, he was so knowledgeable. He even arranged a catamaran trip for us over to Gabrielle Island, as well as a tour of the south. All in all ,we had a fabulous time, met some amazing people, weather was good, food was good. lovely gardens and lovely staff. I did not want to com home. This holiday will definitely be a beautiful memory.

Beautiful place with minor improvements required

Site maintained could be improved and the general tidiness of the beach and grounds to improve the overall look. Other than that, a beautiful place to be. Female "bar staff" order takers were constantly waiting at times when there was only one bar MAN.... why could they not assist with orders? The free water sports facilities were very cool, but not advertised well enough one the site for all inclusive... it felt you had to pay unless you had the confidence to approch staff at the hut..... Beach toilets for our entire stay were out of order, which meant you had to walk all the way back to the resort if your room wasn't closer. Not enough beach showers. These are all very minor things that could be improved on, as the hotel was what we expected.

Consistently excellent in all areas. The food was excellent & a good variety with the 3 restaurants on the resort. The Indigo buffet is themed each night & we were impressed with every meal. The Italian has an odd queue system from 10am each day for that night (get there early & expect to queue). There is as much or as little to do on site as you want with lots of activities included. There is a glass bottom boat that goes our daily to a reef for amazing snorkelling, book a few days ahead. Paddle boarding & kayaking is included too. Lots of sun beds especially the further away from the main pool, there are signs up around not hogging the sun beds & we never had an issue. We had a superior sea view room which was very spacious & well equipped with a kettle, tea/ coffee & a small fridge which is refilled each day. Water is available via the stations in the Indigo restaurant & beach bar. The staff work very hard & do a great job & the hotel is very clean. We did a bike ride to Flaq market (which is on Wednesday & Sundays) book via the animation team, it’s a great way to get out & see real life! Taxi Trips can be booked with Vicky (male) who runs the hotel taxi service where you hire a driver for the whole day to take you wherever you want at half the price of the Tui trips! The drivers aren’t always fluent in English but are helpful & reliable. Lunch boxes can be ordered to take on trips. In summary an all round excellent resort & would definitely recommend.

My idea of heaven

The resort is beautiful and very peaceful. Such a delight to wake up and see the sea and in the evenings watch the sun go down and see the colours of the sky changing while sipping a cocktail at the bar. The main attraction is the beach and the way where ever you are at the resort you can see the sea. We were in room 812, superior seaview. It was spacious and kept clean and tidy by the lovely Latisha. The air con is quite noisy, so if you a light sleeper take ear plugs with you. It has to be kept on all the time due to condensation. The hotel's main asset is its staff. Everyone is so polite, friendly and welcoming. I will not mention names because is unfair to those who I cannot remember. We enjoyed the food. It was well cooked and presented. The head chef walked around in the Indigo chatting to guests and checking all was well, which was a nice touch. The food was good a lot of different curries, but also excellent roast beef and Yorkshire pud and some good Chinese dishes. We ate at the Italian a few times which provided a good variation during our 2 week stay. We had an excellent 3 course meal in the evenings and we had lunch there twice. We were also invited to a meal at the beach restaurant for our 35th wedding anniversary ( which isn't until August) which was a pleasant surprise. We had the All Inclusive package which meant that we could go out on the snorkelling trips near the reef and see all the different fish. We did the 5 island trip with Chris which is an absolute must. A wonderful way to experience the country from the water. We saw waterfalls, monkeys, dolphins and tropical fish. The hotel provides a taxi service where you book a private trip to where ever you want to go. We did the Black Gorges National Park. Waterfalls, vulcano crater, the coloured sands and the sacred lake and temples. Our driver explained a lot about the Hindu religion and also about the sugar cane industry. There are some negatives as mentioned on other reviews. There are a few areas of the hotel which need a bit of TLC. The stairways leading to the rooms need painting. They were cleaned every day, but still looked a bit grubby. Some of the chair cushions in the main restaurant need replacing. None of these things spoil this lovely hotel, and when we compared prices to newer hotels Ambre is good value so don't be put off by a few cosmetic issues. Service was a bit patchy at the Coral bar, mainly due to lots of new staff. It was more than compensated by their friendliness

Compact & intimate hotel

Hotel & beach were just what we were looking for, with plenty of sun beds & shade. Rooms were kept clean, adequate furnishings & large. Restaurants were good, but confusing as to what was all inclusive & what extras needed for some items. Hard to get booked into Italian. Cocktails were not very inspiring, mostly made with syrup & again, confusing which was all inclusive & which were not!

Ambre Hotel Mauritius just lovely

This hotel is on one of the best beaches, East Coast. The location is perfect and the hotel appearance really lovely. I cannot rate the staff highly enough all give 100% at all times. We stayed in room 414-- 19th May till 26th May 2023 sea facing with a balcony. This room is very big and although a little tired was kept spotlessly clean by our cleaning chap. Food at the hotel is excellent with lots of choice and the beach restaurant just perfect. All the bar staff went above and beyond with nothing too much trouble

The good points for the Hotel, great location, beautiful beach and lovely pool plenty of sunbeds on the beach and around the pool staff on the whole were ok ,,, negatives food very repetitive and some was re cycled for instance chicken sausage left over from breakfast was put into a Chinese Noodle dish in the evening, To many vegetarian dishes, Saute potato every lunch and every evening, Basmati Rice every lunch and every evening, a dhal dish every day lunch and evening which meant not much choice left maybe 2 meat dishes and one fish dish again the fish was re cycled and ended up in a rice dish chopped up, drinks are only local drinks but no alcohol in the cocktails and international brands expensive had one Cointreau Cost £9, rooms really need up dating and need refurbishing everything seems clean but looked dirty due to have old everything is although the reception area has been modernized, so yes we only sleep in the rooms but still could be refurbed, Unfortunately we had 2 items stolen from our room and it had to be the cleaner only a small silver neckless and a New lace ladies to taken from our suitcase so not happy at all with this and our Mini Bar consisted of 2 beers 1 coke 1 sprite and 1 water ,,, a bit poor all in all a lovely setting and nice pool but food, drinks and rooms were poor we have had far better and this is marked as a 4 star Hotel when it really should be a 3 star at best until things improve, will end on a high the breakfast selection was very good and the cakes and bread were amazing so a mixed bag really, would we go again? no sorry not not value for money for us and it does seem all inclusive get a bad deal at this hotel

he resort was beautiful and welcoming and an ideal location for our honeymoon. Our room was upgraded to a superior sea view room. The waiters and waitresses worked incredibly hard and did everything within their power to ensure we had a fantastic holiday. The service was fantastic. A particular mention to Brinda who worked in the restaurant who in a very short space of time remembered and used our names when we attended the restaurant. This was very nice to be greeted in this way each time we saw her. She was very attentive and took care of all our needs. Two ladies in the Spa who my wife and I received an all over body massage from also deserve a mention, Greetan and Bushra. Having never received a massage before, it was an extremely delightful and relaxing experience. The only issue we had was that the toilet facilities on the beach were out of order for the whole two weeks we were there. Albeit inconvenient it did not spoil our holiday as there were other facilities that could be used but did mean a further walk. Overall, brilliant, welcoming and a good time was had by all.

Special thanks to Brinda in the restaurant who looked after us everyday. She remembered our names in a very short space of time and used them to welcome us each and every time we went to the restaurant. She provided excellent service. Geetan and Bushra provided us with an amazing massage in the Spa area. It was extremely relaxing and an amazing experience. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our honeymoon. Would recommend to anybody.

Fantastic stay in Mauritius at a great hotel

We stayed in May 23 for 2 weeks and had a superior deluxe beach front room. The rooms were spotless and cleaned beautiful every day. Mini bar topped up daily. Although the rooms were a bit tired there was nothing wrong, bed was very comfortable and extremely large with lovely big pillows. Bathroom - shower very spacious, lots of hot water. Restaurant - we tended to eat in the Indigo. We sat in the outdoor Terrace area and were looked after by an amazing waiter, Sanjiv. Nothing was too much trouble, drinks topped up and any requests dealt with quickly and efficiently. Cannot praise him enough. We read the reviews before going about some poor service - I must say we did not experience that at all. We ate at the Italian a couple of evenings but the service not as efficient as the Indigo which also felt more relaxed, probably due to Sanjiv. Having said that the food at the Italian was excellent and it is worth a visit - if you can face queuing up in the morning to book a table. Best bet is to go for lunch when no reservations are required. Beach was beautiful, with plenty of sun beds and lovely walks along the coast. Waiter on the beach for drinks. Again, this was frequent and we never felt neglected. Jay was excellent. We also enjoyed calling in at the Ti Bar as the sunset for drinks - staff all excellent and friendly with good service. Facilities at the hotel were plentiful. We played tennis (you have to purchase a tube of balls) but the rackets were great. We also had 2 massages - very reasonable for a resort and very relaxing in a perfect setting. Thank you to the Spa staff! Water sports - loads to do and took the pedelos out a number of times. Also my husband tried waterskiing - arranged by Chris (look out for him - great guy!). We also booked excursions with Chris - best was the Five Islands, Fantastic day in a speedboat stopping off at various islands, snorkelling and seeing dolphins. Outstanding. And so reasonable working out at around £75 each. All in all a fantastic holiday. Thank you to the team at the hotel and thank you especially to Sanjiv who made our whole holiday that bit more special.

We returned here for the 4th time after a bit of an absence. It was so wonderful to be back. The staff are amazing & it was so nice to see some familiar faces & some lovely new ones. Nothing is too much trouble for them & we can't say thank you enough for the fantastic treatment. They made us feel so valued & we can't wait to come back. Especially all our lovely little touches. What a fabulous resort cannot fault anything the staff are amazing and cannot do enough for you all around the resort. The resort was spotless at all times . It’s paradise and all staff help make this a fabulous experience. There is only one thing I would say is that the resort could do more to support the local charity that helps all the stray dogs that are on beach and resort they are no problem to visitors but feel that the resort could maybe help to feed them as you were told not to feed .

After a lot of research we picked the Ambre hotel and we were not disappointed. Great beach, lovely resturants and facilities. Above all though, the staff were excellent, too many to name but Karishma on reception when we arrived, in the Dolce Vita resturan, Manish and Vishal were excellent! We will certainly be back again!

We went to Ambre for our honeymoon and I can honetly say that the hotel is aboslutely amazing. What makes it so perfect is not only the long beach with breathtaking views and white sands, but also the staff that are there for you to make your stay 100% enjoyable. The food is top, the cleanliness of the hotel is spotless! The spa is really great - here speacial thanks ro Reena and Brinda for the best massages ever. Special thanks to Mr Vikesh, the Guest Relations Manager who made sure we enjoyed our honeymoon until the very last minute of our trip. Mr Rakesh was also there for us to assist with anything we may need, no matter how big or small throughout our stay. Thank you also to Anil, Nitisha and Jevin for treating us like royalty in the Indigo Restaurant. Special thanks to Anil who made us feel special at the Dolce Vita and an absolute aplause goes to Kamlesh and Vikash for treating us with utmost prority at La Plage. There are many more people who warmed our hearts and made sure we had a smile on our faces all the time, for which I would like to thank you all. Moreover, the beds were super comfortable, the food was 100% of the time of very high quality. I would definitely come back and would 100% recommend the hotel.

Very good hotel overall. Employees were very helpful and exceeded our expectations in hospitality. We very much appreciated the fact that we had got a room where we did not get the beach view. They spontaneously change our room for a suite for four persons with beach view upon request. Very friendly. Great food and drinks were very good.

We have recently arrived home from this beautiful resort in Mauritius. We have visited many tropical destinations for there beaches and seas and this one is definitely up there. It was an hours drive from the airport which took you through some local areas of Mauritius. Once we arrived we was greeted by a young lady but unfortunately we don’t believe she should be front of house, she had a some what attitude that wasn’t very friendly or forthcoming. The rooms are dated and the installation of the rooms are some what questionable, they could do with a bit of TLC, but overall we had good night sleeps, beds are comfortable and the view we had was amazing! ( some rooms do have a more basic view ) House keeping was basic and lacking in common sense when replacing certain items, but was sorted out once it was brought to the attention. Restaurants are amazing, but only certain staff were giving the good service. One thing we have never experienced was the fact you had to queue every morning to get a seat in the Al a-cart which then wasn’t always possible, reminded us of a doctors waiting room. Also it’s not best practice when you’re supposed to be relaxing while on holiday not to queue. Overall The Al a-cart food was presented beautifully, and very flavoursome. Also a lot of choices for all inclusive. Buffet restaurant ( indigo ) was one of the best buffets we have experienced. Bars at the resort are amazing, lacking in service again but the staff that was picking up after others made up for this. Drinks menus are located at the bar ( we was never told for the first few days about this so we played it safe and ordered typical cocktails ) there are many all inclusive cocktails to pick from!… H&H lounge wasn’t really for us, it felt very trapped in, could do with some windows so it brightens it up a little. The beach area was amazing! Service again hit and miss, but made up again by certain staff members who genuinely wanted you to enjoy and relax. Plenty of sun loungers. Sea was crystal clear and calm due to it being a lagoon and sand was powder white. I’d advise taking water shoes due to a lot of coral that gets washed up. Overall we enjoyed our two week break. And thank you again for making it that extra special with the attention we received. A few shout outs to the staff that gave exceptional service and deserve some recognition. Due to me and my partner being very observant and coming from management backgrounds we came to the conclusion that majority of the staff were being trained, and the staff mentioned below stepped up and was doing majority or the service and making the holiday experience exceptional. Some newer staff also gave the attitude that they really enjoyed what they were doing, unfortunately some not so much. All the following staff went above to make it as enjoyable and relaxing as possible. My family and I experienced a wonderful stay at Ambre Hotel Mauritius The welcoming at the reception was very satisfying and professional . Rooms and house keeping was satisfying Restaurants:We had a warm welcome at the buffet restaurant (Indigo), especially with its indian buffet on one evening, which was very nice. We will never forget firstly, the exceptional service and food served for tea time in my room facing the crystal clear water with its sandy white beach . Secondly, we were served with breakfast on the beach with such a beautiful view on the beach with its fine white sand and wonderful view and great service. The staff at the spa were welcoming and pleasant. Overall we enjoyed our stay. And many thanks for the management and staff for making it that extra special with the attention we received. First of all I will like to thank all the wonderful staffs specially Mr Pradeep for the wonderful fantabulous magical experience day package. We had such a warm welcome from the amazing team complemented by cocktail drinks. The swimming pool was such a delight with the Seaview and such wonderful landscapes of sun, sea, sand. Mr Pradeep was so accommodating, helpful and dedicated to his duties. Food, hospitality and service were all outstanding and excellent. We are already looking forward to book again next year. What a fantastic time we had at the Ambre hotel in Mauritius, it was our honeymoon and we booked 10 days at the adults only resort. The hotel is amazing, clean with loads of space and activities. The food was very good, however lacked variety in the main restaurant. The staff were fantastic, i would like to make a special mention to Ramphul at the Coral bar who's customer service was first class. Top tip - Don't book trips from TUI, book from the locals on the beach, you get the same trip but a third of the price. Look out for Chris on the beach, he sells the 5 island speed boat trip which can't be missed. A fantastic holiday and highly recommend to anyone.

Just back from a great holiday in Amber hotel Mauritius. Staff are excellent- very attentive and welcoming. The rooms are a bit dated and lack all the mod cons but the lovely pool and other amenities make up for it. Do take advantage of the free water activities and trips.

The main purpose of us being here was our wedding and that turned out to be better than we had ever hoped for. A special shout out to our wedding planner Nikhil and the beautiful Geetan at the spa who did my wedding hair, makeup and nails. Everything went smoothly and the staff made us feel special. Also special thanks to Divisen and Kevin and all the guys at the Dolce Vita restaurant for their attention and lovely food and for our special candle lit dinner on the beach after the wedding. Also a special mention to Nikhil at the Ti Bar who was great and works so hard. A few slightly negative things to mention. Generally service can sometimes be slightly hit and miss with drinks that never arrived and our room was rather dated and dark and a bit grim to be honest (311) superior garden room. However I forgive all of that as we enjoyed our stay and the wedding immensely. Thanks all !

Magical holiday in paradise

Arrived home after a wonderful 10 days at Ambre. What can I say? The staff were very friendly and went above and beyond My fear of all inclusive was eradicated by the hotel. Lots of gluten free choices and a lot of checks were made to ensure I could eat well. The rooms were lovely, comfortable beds and lots of space. All the little things you might have needed were including those you didn’t. Do take a European adapter as although they use British sockets there is only one in the room. Had 2 massages with Bushra who has magic hands. Also used the medical centre for a health issue, not related to the holiday. The doctor regularly checked up on me and came out within 40 minutes of being called. Don’t get that on the NHS at the moment. Spent most of our time on the beach but never an issue with beds. A big shout out to the beach bar staff who checked regularly whether we wanted drinks and on one occasion bought us ice cold flannels to refresh us. Did the five islands boat trip with Chris who was regularly on the beach. Had an amazing day and this is the one trip you should do. All in all a fab holidays, there was a few niggles but they didn’t impact at all. Make sure you are clear when booking if you want a balcony. We had a garden view but were upgraded to a superior sea view which was lovely but no balcony. It’s a long flight to get there but it is completely worth it.

Ambre Mauritius- Honeymoon

Honeymoon - well what can I say, the Ambre went the extra mile to make our honeymoon extra special. When we arrived we where given a room upgrade, pre booked special meal on the beach and a complimentary couples back massage. Along with this little treats in the room like wine, fruit and arrangements. Beach - we spent all our 10 days on the beautiful beach which is positioned in a sheltered cove. We were advised by our airport taxi driver that the hotel beach is the best on that side of the island by far. We loved it, gorgeous soft sand, shells and calm water for snorkelling. Jay who works on the beach is a star and supplied our drinks endlessly. Le Plage beach restaurant- a special mention to Kevin who works here who was so attentive during our meal making sure it was special. The Spa - after our couples back massage my husband booked me in for a “Signature massage” (full body) with Nalini and she was amazing! My body massages from my toes to the tip of my nose and all done whilst overlooking the sea. This was 5200 rupees for 1 hour 20 which is comparable to the uk and a lovely relaxing experience. I felt like a floating jelly afterwards lol. Restaurants/food - the food is great, literally cannot fault it. The Buffett is not repetitive and has something for everyone. I preferred lunch at the beach for some daily variation and you can also lunch at the Italian. Evening meals can be in the buffet or at the Italian or the beach if pre booked which is a very easy process. Trips - As mentioned in previous posts the 5 Island tour booked through Chris is the blue top who walks the beach is a must. It’s 3500 rupees per person and is fab! I would definitely recommend using Chris! Tips - we tipped a 200 rupee note when when service was great, it certainly isn’t expected but does go a long way. Rooms - everything you need for your stay and more than adequate. Mini bar is stocked up daily with beer, pop, milk, Kit Kat and crisp. There is a free safe, slippers and hair dryer. We had room 159 which was 2nd floor with a balcony facing the Ti bar on the beach. Weather - we arrived at the end of May which is their winter. Out of 10 days we’ve had two of showers which I think is good going. It’s been a nice 26 degree, no humidity and a pleasant breeze. I would certainly recommend this hotel to others!

An amazing place to stay. The rooms were a bit outdated due to a mixture of colours but very clean , beds comfortable and staff more than willing to supply everything needed. The views were spectacular, food amazing in the buffet bar and drinks plentiful(even on the beach) Plenty of sun beds available and cabanas very comfortable. Went on the 5 islands boat trip which I can only describe as an amazing experience and would recommend to anyone- I haven’t laughed so much in years. Met lovely people and hope to go back one day

We have just spent the most wonderful 10 days here, so sad to be leaving this fabulous resort and beautiful island. Everyone and everything has been perfect - staff, food, drink, beach can't fault anything from start to finish! Go and see Nikhil at the Ti Bar for the best mojitos and fantastic service with the biggest smile! Grounds are immaculate, if we are to be incredibly picky we could say rooms need a bit of a spruce up but fully functional, clean and well serviced...what more do you really need?! Thank you Travel Buddy for finding us our dream holiday 😁 Going to miss waking up to this view everyday! Mauritius, it's been a blast 🍹❤!

Great facilities and good food. Staff were very pleasant and great. However, rooms were old and one major safety concern was the slippery bathroom shower floor tiles. The tiles are glossy and not slip resistant and could be very risky and unsafe for users especially in a shower.

We stayed at this hotel in may for 10 nights, The hotel and staff are totally amazing. The rooms are a little dated and could do with a lick of paint but it didn’t have any effect on our stay. The maids was in our rooms every day with clean towels every day and even the pool bar had clean towels for the sun beds. Look out for Chris round the pools and be sure to book the five islands trip with him we absolutely loved it! Everything about this hotel was absolutely amazing and even the two restaurants we tried was fantastic food , we did the steak house on the beach and we managed to get in twice at the Italian aswel where the food was delicious. All I can say if your thinking of booking make sure you do we will definitely be back next year even if the flights was so long it’s well worth the travel

First time in Mauritius and this resort has made it a great experience. From arrival to departure the team here totally look after you. Food, drinks not a problem, in fact the food is well presented and plenty to choose from. Both the Italian and a la cart nights are of very high standard. Grounds are well kept and very tidy throughout. Simply do as much or as little as you want, great location, great staff. There is no negatives, simply fantastic!

Overall the service is great but i feel that some staff needs training for example in the bar service as well for the boat house which I feel like they were talking to me as if am just someone who came there to disturb them and they didn’t give me a proper answer this was my worst part of the stay… the food was great by the way as well as the staff there am not done here yet here will review again once my stay is over…

Had a lovely holiday here at Ambre Hotel - The staff cant do enough for you, so friendly and polite - Their motto is - "There is always a solution to every problem" and they really stick to this I felt relaxed straight away You have the choice of 2 restaurants to eat in at lunch so always managed to find something to eat They cook the most amazing curry's They need to do a bit more work on their cocktails however Ramphul the bar waiter was great he was always there with a drink for you We had a few days rain but they equip you with an umbrella but the showers soon past quickly The 5 island speed boat trip was a really good day out Met lots of lovely people They have a charity called 4 paws that sponsor the stray dogs to make sure they are vaccinated and sterilised so the dogs have collars on and are so lovely and friendly, they walk around the complex and play on the beach so if you arnt a dog lover then maybe this isn't the right hotel for you but I loved having walks down the beach with them and having a few cuddles

Just returned from 10 days at Ambre resort in Mauritius. Had a fantastic time golfing, on the beach, island trips etc. The staff are all extremely friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them. Our room was serviced every day, new towels provided and fridge stocked with beer, coke, water and kitkats. All restaurants are great and the live evening entertainment every night was superb. Cannot fault any aspect of the whole 10 days

Ambre / Belle Mare - 4 Paws Rescue and Relocation, thank you!

Me and my family stayed at the Ambre Mauritius hotel from the 22nd May - 29th May. The hotel facilities, staff and location was incredible, especially the beach. Our most memorable experience was the dogs. We have never met such sweet dogs as the ones on the Belle Mare beach. They caused us no trouble and we are delight to see each day. We enjoyed petting them and seeing what they got up to! The dogs were very aware of guests and we did not see them causing any bother when we were staying at the hotel. During our stay it did rain for a few days and the dogs did want shelter. The hotel allowed them under cover and again they caused no bother. I think we saw more guests approach them for a fuss than we saw dogs going up to the guests! In the week we stayed we didn’t see the hotel treat the dogs incorrectly, the only thing we saw them do was shoo them away if they were in the way or not welcomed by a guest. The staff did asks guests if the dogs were bothering them and 95% out of the guests said no and encouraged the dogs to approach them, which the staff allowed. The dogs entertained themselves by playing together and spent most of their time sleeping. They did not bother guests for attention and some of the dogs were too timid to even approach the guests. The cats caused us no issues at all, they kept out of the way completely unless a guest called them over or approached them. The cats were very sweet and we loved fussing them. The Belle Mare Beach Project is incredible and to see a volunteer feed the dogs/cats each day, is so lovely and warming knowing someone is looking after them. I messaged Lisa about a few of the dogs and Lisa was nothing but helpful and caring about them. The volunteers I spoke to were lovely and very helpful, if there were any issues they were there right away. It really did make our holiday knowing these dogs were cared for and looked after otherwise, I would of spent the whole week worrying about them! 4 Paws Rescue and Relocation are amazing at what they are doing for these dogs/cats and will go above and beyond for them. We can honestly say that the dogs/cats were loved by the hotel guests and caused no issues at all for us. I wish there were more charities that cared for the dogs like this charity/project do! This project should be implemented in all hotels that have stray dogs and cats. Thank you 4 Paws for everything you are doing for these dogs and cats!!!

Five island tour is a must

The service from start to finish was impeccable. They really couldn’t do enough for us and nothing was too much problem. The hotel was beautiful and clean but the bedrooms were a little dated and although a superior room we had no balcony but a lovely sea view. Good choice of fresh food in the restaurants with a variety of local dishes. Afternoon tea and coffee served every afternoon The beach is Beautiful and once again the service there is perfect with cold towels in the afternoon and ice pops. Great choice of non motorised water sports included but also motorised at a fee. Chris definitely needs a mention as he will endeavour to find you the right activity or trip and the five island tour is the best by far we have ever done. All day on a speedboat visiting five islands, snorkelling, feeding monkeys, dolphins, barbecue on a secluded beach and lots of rum

I stayed for 2 days on 12 june 2023 at the hotel from room 831 very far from the facilities but overall a Very good hotel nice staffs I want to thank Babita from the housekeeping who kept our room cleaned Tirouven from the front desk for all his proper information given to us and as well as Manish from the Italian restaurant with a 5 star service given to us. I was disappointed with only 2 service, the first one with the boat house they were so mean and didn't take the time to explain to me the service they provide and secondly from the Bar because one bar waitress bump at me and all my drinks fell off on me and she didn't even apologise, overall all was good for a 4 star hotel but if they want to get the 5 star they need to work out a lot with some staff.

Le Spa at Ambre resort is so peaceful and chill. We stayed at Ambre for our honeymoon and got a complimentary 30 mins couples back massage. We decided to upgrade but adding some more time onto it and got the Coco massage. We would 100% recommended this. Emily and Reena gave us a lovely massage. Steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, treatment rooms ❤️

We had 10 glorious days at this resort. The service was impeccable, everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The food was good, especially in the beach restaurant. We had fresh towels in the room and for the beach every day. We also played golf at Le Aux Cerfs, absolutely beautiful but take plenty of balls 😂 …..excellent holiday Will definitely be going back!

A wonderful honeymoon

We have just returned home from a lovely 2 week honeymoon..and didn't want to leave! There are a few negatives about the hotel, but the management do seem to be addressing these already. Our welcome was professional and friendly. The room wasn't ready as it was only 9am, but we were shown to the courtesy room to change and then have breakfast. The room (Superior Sea View).....though dated and in need of refurbishing, it was spacious, clean and had a terrace with a lovely sea view. (It was kept beautifully clean by Pratima ) The pool/beach area.....both lovely, clean areas. The major downside was the lack of beds with shade. People were putting towels on beds at 5am!! However, there were plenty more beds and parasols being put in all areas whilst we were there, so this should help. Restaurants.....I cannot understand any negative comments on the food here. Indigo buffet...There was plenty of choice every day. A good variety of food, plus themed dishes each day, eg Chinese, Italian, Mauritian etc. All hot and cooked fresh. Breakfasts were also cooked fresh..special mention to the lady cooking all the omelettes/eggs at the back...always friendly and professional. Most of the waiters were also very helpful and friendly.... topping wine up and chatting. A couple of times we had a bad experience, a rude waitress and long waits for drinks etc. This ruined a couple of meals for us but we put it down to new staff still training. Dolce Vita....we loved lunch in here, restaurant type food/service and quiet atmosphere. Nicoletta always welcomed us and great service from all staff. The menu seemed better at lunchtime than evening. Unfortunately, some food is included in the AI, some not, but the price is always shown on the menu. La Plage Seafood Restaurant....we were treated to a fabulous honeymoon meal here, with a lovely sea view. The restaurant is not included in the All Inclusive in the evening, which is a shame. Coral Bar...a lovely place to sit for a few drinks. Also provides pool and beach service. The service was usually good, especially from Sami and Michael. However, sometimes we had long waits but again it seemed due to new staff being trained so should get better. A couple of days there seemed to be 'corporate days' going on, which meant the pool area became quite busy and the bar area filled for a few hours. This ruined the 'holiday feel' for a while, and was mentioned by a few guests whilst we were there. Mauitius is a beautiful island. We had a few trips out which we recommend (booked with Chris on the beach) ....5 island trip, North Island Catamaran trip, walking on the sea bed. We also hired a car for sightseeing (£100 for 2 days) . Overall.....so many positives at this hotel, and we had a wonderful time. The few negatives seemed to be being resolved already.

I went to Mauritius for my mums 60th birthday. We had an amazing time. The staff at the Ambre were polite and friendly, the rooms spacious, the beach was georgeous. Chris and the 5 islands tour is a must do for all. However the best thing were the stray dogs and cats. I went not knowing about the problem and then hearing horror stories about how the animals are treated elsewhere on the island however the staff at the Ambre seemed to respect them and were filling up water bowls for them. Meeting all the animals and seeing how much the guests love them and care for them made the experience. Its such great work that 4 paws rescue and relocation are doing. Hopefully soon one of them will join me in the UK!

Family Holiday and Birthday Celebrations

A credit to the hotel. Special thanks also go to Sandy ..amazing breakfast service and bringing childhood memories of living in Mauritius as a child..amazing Maurition fruit salad. We went on a weekend getaway for my partner’s birthday and I must say we had a great time. We requested for some exclusive cocktails and we were very well served. Idyllic Ambre

My Wife and I have just returned from a 2 week holiday at the Ambre hotel and we didn’t want to leave. Travelled the end of May 2023. It’s location is amazing, with the beautiful turquoise waters and white sandy beaches, but the staff are what really makes it special. It’s a large hotel but never felt too busy and there’s a variety of food available at the 3 restaurants - Dolce Vita was our favourite and the staff and service there is outstanding. There were a few corporate days whilst we were there which meant the Dolce Vita and La Plage restaurants were unavailable a couple of nights but we didn’t mind – we just booked for the next day/night. We enjoyed lovely massages in the spa and we used the gym a couple of days which was sufficiently equipped for what we needed (a variety of cardio and weights available). We didn’t venture out of the hotel too much as we wanted a very relaxing holiday but we did do the 5 Islands tour with Chris(he'll find you on the beach no doubt on your first day) and we had a great time. It was good value for money, very well organised and is a definite must if you want to do a tour, we fed Monkeys, saw Dolphins alongside the boat and also a Turtle. You’ll also get to enjoy lots of the local rum We spent most of our time on the beach, rather than around the pool. We found there to be a variety of sun beds available on the beach and we never struggled to find beds with shade (and we didn’t get to the beach before 10am most days). There’s daily volleyball and a variety of water sports at the resort to enjoy. There’s also a number of beach games available to play at the Ti - Bar (we spent much of our time here during the holiday) as well as the H&H Bar which showed sport. We had a superior sea facing room(833), which although a little dated, was very clean and suited our needs. Aircon was good, shower warm when required...took a few mins to warm up. All of the staff at the Ambre were fantastic, from the cleaners, gardeners, spa staff(thanks for the head massage, Geetan), waiters on the beach, pool bar and all the restaurant and reception staff. Everyone was so friendly and they work hard to make sure every customer has what they need to make their holiday special. A big shout out though goes to Nikhil, Laxman, Jay and Pracine(may have spelt that wrong) at the Ti - Bar who kept us stocked up with drinks on the beach throughout our stay and at the Ti Bar in the evening. Also to Akash for his excellent customer service and amazing cocktails in the H&H bar and Preetam, the Duty Manager who always made time to stop and chat and made sure we were having a good holiday and had what we needed. Thank you to Priyanka for our LATE evening Sunday dinner, thanks for taking the photos. Would I recommend this hotel? Absolutely! Would I go back? Can’t wait to get it booked We flew direct with BA from LGW(South), nothing to fault with them either.

Wonderful holiday at a great resort on a beautiful island

Just returned from a wonderful 10 day all inclusive holiday at the Ambre Sun & Spa Resort. Great private beach, excellent resort facilities, staff all very polite and courteous and provide excellent customer service we would particularly like to mention Neha and Arvind in the restaurants, Preetam for his excellent poolside service, Reena for the spa treatment and Geetan for the henna treatment, Also Chris who works on the beach and organises the 5 island tour which was a fantastic experience assisted by Arnauld our speedboat captain, great fun day out. Natasha our guide on the South Island excursion sightseeing and cultural experience and Chandra our TUI rep. We stayed in room 824 which was a nice sea facing room with balcony near the spa facilities. Food is good and plentiful our only suggestion would be to have more variety of vegetarian food options on the menus at the 3 restaurants. One point of note there are about 4 or 5 dogs who you will see around the resort. These are rescue and adoption dogs who are supported by the resort. We did not experience any issues with these dogs and the resort and beach itself was always very clean and tidy. A wonderful holiday at a great resort on a beautiful island. One we would happily repeat and recommend.

Amazing Holiday, staff cannot be kinder. Rooms may be slightly less modern but there’s so much to do so the rooms are not as important. Loads of activities thrown in for free. Multiple restaurants to eat at every day & a Five Island Tour (With Chris) that’s unforgettable. I cannot wait until the children are old enough so we can experience the Ambre Luxury as a family.

Myself and my wife are here on our 30th wedding anniversary and decided to experience a massage for the first time while here at the Ambre Resort and Spa Hotel and staff at the Spa was next to none. So so help and went out of there way to ensure we had a pleasant experience. Especially Nalini and Geethan who look after us. We'll worth a visit. The hotel gave is an additional Spa visit for our anniversary and again this visit was as equal as good and well relaxed. While here it's definitely a must.

From start to finish we had the most amazing time. Nothing was ever too much for any of the staff, who were always to hand and wanting to help. Everybody from ground staff all the way to the chefs always had a smile and greeted. We loved the food, one of the things we liked was not having a huge buffet but rather smaller and better quality. So many cooking stations - fresh fish, meats cooked right in front of you. Room large and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our stay. Cleanliness excellent. Hotel grounds and beach so well maintained. More than enough sun beds on the beach , round the pool and in front of rooms. Along the beach are also these lovely round beds , so comfy. We would like say a big thank you to Suuida who helped us move rooms due to noise. Also Pascaline at the T- bar , for always making sure we had a drink. Bushra and Kuveesha at the spa, hands that ease away the stress. Visas,Nando and Heraldo and water sports , helped hubby learn to sail. Snorkelling was great too. We have traveled far and wide and this is one of the best resorts we have been to. Thank you. For us there are no negatives, while we were there I noticed in the Indigo new tables and chairs. They are a lovely white with white and blue chairs. Please, please, please just take off the ugly cushions they are not needed.

This was a great, friendly, laid back hotel with the most amazing staff who do everything to make you enjoy every minute. As other reviews have said, the rooms and decor are a little tired but this had no bearing on our experience. Our room was large, with everything we needed, including plenty of wardrobe space. The bed was really comfortable and the shower good. Even though we weren't far from the bars and restaurants, it was very quiet so sleep was never a problem. The gardens and pools are beautifully kept with the friendly staff working tirelessly. The beach is beautiful with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas and in our opinion the best part of the beach in that area. The guys on the beach work so hard, constantly checking whether you needed a drink and brought round cold towels and ice pops in the afternoon. There were plenty of activities if you wanted, with most water sports free and daily boat and snorkelling trips (weather permitting) There was also the opportunity to join beach volleyball late afternoon or play games such as boules or table tennis. There was also evening entertainment if you wished. We hired a car for a day through the hotel which was very reasonable and good to get out and see some of the island. We also did the 5 island trip booked with Chris on the beach and it exceeded all expectations. I've reviewed this on Papa's Dream. Food is good and plentiful and again great staff. Overall the staff are wonderful and I am reluctant to isolate individuals as we never had bad service, and everyone had a part to play. I'm sure there are plenty of back room staff who also contribute to making this a great place to stay. We wouldn't hesitate to book again in future.

I would definitely recommend staying at the Ambre Hotel. The hotel offers a huge space for all guests. If you feel like spending time by the pool, you will easily find a place for yourself, just like on the beach. Despite the high occupancy, it was not felt during the stay. The most beautiful and well-kept beach in the area. Rooms clean and tidy. In the case of our room, SAILEN took excellent care of its cleanliness. At meals, you can count on above-average service - thank you KANEN. Delicious meals offering local, vegetarian and European cuisine. I think everyone will find something delicious for themselves. My wife is allergic to gluten. In the Dolce Vita restaurant, the staff had no problem preparing meals based on gluten-free pasta. The maneger of this restaurant can be proud of employees like NEHA - very professional customer service. It is impossible not to mention PRIYANKA - always helpful and kind. In the evenings, NIKHIL took care of our well-being. In addition, the reception desk is helpful and open to the customer's needs - DEEPAK only confirmed the professionalism of the entire crew. In fact, the entire service deserves praise, I can't name them all. The number of attractions offered to hotel guests, both free and paid, deserves additional attention. Kayaks, SUP, water bikes - free of charge. You can play beach volleyball every day. A small but fully equipped gym for a full body workout, also equipped with treadmills. A complete hotel! I highly recommend!

Mauritius Ambre Resort – Wonderful holiday – going to book again!!

We were fortunate enough to visit Mauritius in 2021, and looked to return to the stunning island and booked the Ambre resort as it was adults only and located next to a stunning beach / clear blue ocean. We were not disappointed and a big thank you to Tintenter who we watched on you tube and provided a great review of the hotel. We booked with Southall Travel (direct flight with Air Mauritius from Heathrow) and the flight was brilliant and we were looked after by the team so we relaxed straight away with complimentary drinks and a good selection of programmes on the entertainment system. A private transfer was included in the package and we travelled up the coast and looked at all of the beaches on the way to the hotel (55 mins). What is good information to acknowlege is that we arrived at 9.30am and were welcomed to use the private guest room where you can shower etc as the allocated rooms are available just after lunch. This means that essentially you receive this free time as you leave the hotel (say 11 days later) at 6.30pm so in essence you get more time than usual holidays. The reception check in by the team (led by Mr Reyad who is extremely professional) was very efficient, informative and very polite and it was nice that wrist bands are not required. We had a stunning room looking directly onto the beach which was what we had dreamed of. A key point that made us not rush at any point is that there are plenty of sunbeds on the beach and by the pool so you don't have to worry about putting your towels down!! On the beach the drinks can be attained from the bar and also there is a great team of waiters who take your drinks order as you are on the beach. Jay came round from 10am every morning and served us drinks all during the day as much or as little as you wanted – first class well done. The main outside bar is magnificent as you look directly over the Indian Ocean and as soon as we sat down (many tables available) Vishnu welcomed us with offered drinks very swiftly with a canape every evening (very nice). This was followed by olives and nuts all complimentary. If I say that Vishnu and his team could not done enough to make sure we enjoyed our stay and I am under estimating our experience as everybody was so very friendly and kind so a thank you to Jean Pierre Brenda Michael We received an invitation to have a meal on the beach as it was our anniversary and this was really nice just listening to the sea and a candle light meal (we had the fillet steak that was cooked to perfection). The main restaurant offers much choice and we often selecting Mauritius food which is prepared to a high standard. All drinks are served to your table and the house wines are very good. Ravi / Rati and Zaina often looked after our requirements and we chose many times to dine outside as the temperature was 26 degrees and no mosquitos 😊 The Italian restaurant Dolce Vita is very impressive but please be remindful you have to book daily and the choice is very large and the food is of the highest order. The evening entertainment was very good with some dance artists and a couple of great vocalists starting at 9pm and closing at 11pm. Mr Puttee is the Executive Manager and was always ensuring that guests were looked after and was always enquiring if anything further could be done. The things that impressed us the most were the staff. They cannot do enough for you and nothing is too much trouble. We will definitely be returning to Ambre resort and we have to say a big thank you for a wonderful experience and excellent holiday. Mauritius is total paradise and we can’t wait to come back at the end of the year

She checked in on us multiple times, and ensured that we were being served regularly. We had lunch at the Dolce Vita restaurant. The food as well as the service was great. I would recommend!

The Ambre Mauritius is an amazing hotel! We stayed all inclusive and nothing was too much for the staff! They are all very friendly and extremely helpful. The beach is clean and the sand doesn’t get hot!! Towels are provided for the beach, waiters come to your sun beds…living the dream! My only issue was the pillows in the room, just too soft but otherwise absolutely perfect

I have to say they really do make you feel special - a massage, a special meal, a celebration cake plus other benefits “on the house “. The food is amazing, the location is great, the staff are very friendly and helpful. They want to ensure the experience we have is fantastic. They were busy in the restaurant yesterday and missed asking if we wanted a drink, which I didn’t mind as I could see it was busy being the weekend, Bhavish noted this and was very apologetic and sent a bottle of fizz as a small gesture, it wasn’t needed but we graciously appreciated it. We will miss the place as we go home in two days following a 13 day holiday. Thanks to all the staff not forgetting to mention Tiroven who ensured he sorted us out when we were registered in at the start of our holiday. G Gupta

Ambre a Mauritian gem

First impressions are important and the welcome we received at the Ambre Resort and Spa was perfect and set the tone for the rest of our stay. We were ushered into the light and airy lounge and served a refreshing cocktail while we relaxed from the journey from the airport and took in the beautiful views of the Indian Ocean to our left and the Moka range of mountains in the distance to our right. The hotel is located on the east coast of Mauritius which has an almost unbroken reef running parallel to the shore offering safe bathing from its white sandy beaches. We had booked a basic room with a garden view and were delighted to be given an enormous first floor room with a large bathroom, separate loo, fridge, safe, tea and coffee making facilities, two settees, two comfy armchairs and a juliette balcony. The views were stunning and we were very close to the main bars and restaurants. One advantage of this was that one evening as we prepared to go to dinner the beautiful sounds of a saxophone playing soft jazz drifted into our room from the Ti Bar. The Ambre has a main buffet-service restaurant, two a la carte alternatives and a beach bar serving smaller meals. The main bar area, the Cristal, also had light snacks available in the afternoons. We mainly ate in the Dolce Vita Italian restaurant which had different lunchtime and evening menus and despite the name it was truly international fare and allowed me to indulge my passion for fish. Smoked marlin was a first for me as was Capitaine fish. The largest portion of fish I have ever eaten was served at the other a la carte restaurante, La Plage, and I would recommend fasting to anyone else wanting to try the Sailfin fish. What really impressed me was when a fellow guest remarked at the Dolce Vita that she fancied a lasagne and even though it was not on the menu they baked one just for her. Accommodation at the Ambre is mainly in low level apartments stretching along the shoreline with a large spa and air-conditioned gym marking the end of the property. I gave the gym and the tennis courts a miss but did enjoy the free watersports on offer and the glass bottom boat trip and snorkelling trip. A major bonus for me was the free golf hotel guests could enjoy at the Ile Aux Cerfs Golf Club, a picturesque island course accessed by motor launch. Transfers and the boat trip were also included as was the lunch afterwards and the much needed cold beers. Considering a non-guest would have to pay almost £150 per round it was an incredible saving. The evenings were spent enjoying the entertainment in the Cristal Bar with live music most nights of a very high standard with the dance floor full against the backdrop of the ocean. Even though our trip was in June the weather was hot without the energy-sapping humidity that comes in the height of the season. It was also good value as our ten-night all-inclusive stay was comprable in price to a week’s half board in Greece. The standard of service in the hotel was comparable to the best I have ever had in the States. The staff in all areas from the front desk to the watersports centre worked hard but they were always happy to chat with guests in several different languages and whoever was responsible for their training deserves a big pat on back for a job well done. Neha and Priyanka in the Dolce Vita deserve a special mention however for their super service as does our favourite waiter, Rampuhl, who never let our gin and tonic supply run out. Wendy in the Indigo restaurante was a breath of fresh air in the mornings and we enjoyed chatting to Vishal and Laxman in the beach restaurants. The only hitch in our holiday was the cancellation of our flight back by Air Mauritius but the sterling work done by Vanessa and Brenda on the reception desk resulted in us having an extra day in the resort in our own rooms. I will break this review into different areas of the hotel. Arrival warmly greeted, given a drink and cold flannel. We were given information about the hotel, and we were shown to the hospitality room to change. As we arrived early our room wasn't ready until 2pm. We made use of all facilities until then. Room We had a deluxe sea view with a terrace, a lovely view of the sea and central to all facilities. Large comfy bed, fridge restocked daily. Large shower you have to wait for the water to heat only a couple of minutes. If you drink tea, ask reception for black tea, vanilla tea was in room. Beach Fabulous! The main part is large with lots of sunloungers and cabanas. Never had a problem getting a bed. The sea is very calm with fish to see. As we went in winter it was initially cold when entering. The TI bar provides great bar service on the beach. Ti Bar Great place for drinks day and night, music playing, games available to play. The staff there are brilliant and good fun. Next to towel change. Indigo buffet restaurant Good selection of foods for breakfast lunch and dinner. Service could be hit and miss at times. Dolce Vito Delicious selection of food, including lots of fresh fish meals. You have to book for the evening but just turn up for lunch. Lovely service there at all times. La Plage Lovely restaurant on the beach great choice of meals, everything we had was delicious. You have a good choice of all inclusive meals, then others with an additional charge. You have to book for the evening. They have a good selection of snacks available for lunchtime, to either eat there or takeaway. Coral bar Great service, fantastic selection of drinks, many cocktails! Good entertainment every night. Pools Both great size, but cold as winter. There are water sports available but we didn't use them. This hotel was brilliant, the staff truly make it, asnothing is too much trouble All were good, but a few that went above are: Nik, Nikhil, Nicoletta, Jonny, Jevin,Nema, Jahemma thank you all. Book the 5 island tour with Chris on the beach, fantastic trip and cheaper than TUI! See reviews on Papas dream. I highly recommend this hotel and would certainly return.

We loved our holiday here at the Ambre. The staff were so friendly. Our flight out here was delayed and we were feeling a bit rough once we arrived, so we were very pleasantly surprised when we were upgraded to a deluxe suite. Our room was spacious & our room attendant Ram was fantastic. The lock for my case broke on the way here so we asked Ram where we could buy a new one & the next day he brought one to our room without even expecting us to pay for it, but of course we insisted. Thank you Ram for being so helpful & keeping our room spotless! Fresh towels etc every day. The food was good. Some nights at the buffet were better than others, but I suppose that’s down to personal preference as there are themes each night. Service for drinks was always pretty good, staff very helpful & nice. We enjoyed the entertainment at the Coral bar. Also, the beach is gorgeous. Always plenty of sun beds everywhere, no need to reserve beds. I’d recommended doing a few trips - the hotel can organise a taxi drop off & pick up for a set price. This worked really well for us and we found it very reliable. The hotel has a lot of great facilities and we are extremely satisfied with our holiday here. Thank you Ambre! 🧡

We had a warm arrival at Ambre. Very good hospitality shown by Tirouven at the reception. He ensured that we were given the right information about the hotel and walked us to our room. Our room was not very appropriate. We were highly disappointed about the bed. It was two single bed put together with a big dent in the middle. You have to wait for the water to heat a few minutes. Minibar was not fully replenished during our stay. Only the best thing about the room was the cleanliness done by Visambal. Hats off lady. The worst part is the restaurant. My wife has arranged for a birthday cake for my birthday and it never came. Even the staff of Indigo and the reception was fully aware of the birthday cake. Food at Indigo was very good. Breakfast buffet was a delight. Good thing about Indigo was Ravi the waiter, he went above and beyond during busy service to meet guest expectations. Best of all was Dolce Vita. Our friendly waiter Arvin was very professional. Food was amazingly good, beef was cooked to perfection. Tomato soup was best. Beautiful & CLEAN beach. Beach bar and game was fun. Attractive pool. Coral bar is good, awesome cocktails. But there was a guy who took my order and was very racist towards mauritian guests. As if it was a crime to order several drinks, common we were on all inclusive. He was very annoyed to serve mauritians. I noticed these things, i work in the hotel industry,one of the finest on the island. My wife convinced me not to complain and we quietly enjoyed the indian show. To conclude, it is a nice hotel, we enjoyed our romantic escape from our daily routine. ♥️

Ambre Resort Mauritius

My wife and I have just returned home having spent 2 fabulous weeks at the Ambre resort in Mauritius. The hotel itself was set on a beautiful beach up on which my wife and I walked about 4 miles each day. The beach was clean with golden sands and crystal clear waters with not a plastic bottle or bag in sight. Our room was situated on the 3rd floor giving excellent views of the beach and surrounding areas. The room had all the facilities you would want including a super king size bed which was very comfortable indeed. The staff at the resort were excellent. They were polite and couldn’t do enough for you. Reception staff were helpful and there were plenty of people on hand to give advice. The food was good with multiple choices in the buffet restaurant and whilst the Italian restaurant menu had a decent selection of meals, some of these were not included in the all inclusive fare. If you like golf, you have access to the Ile Aux Cerfs golf course which is excellent. (I have recently returned from playing golf in Florida and the course is on par with any thing I played there). There is virtually a water hazard on every hole, so be sure to take plenty spare balls. I play off 8 and it’s a challenge especially if you play off the black tees. You are collected from the resort by mini bus and taken to a small jetty where a small boat will take you to the island the course is located on. It all takes about 30 mins from the time you leave the resort. It’s all free of charge and lunch is included if you are staying at the Ambre. Buggy’s are definitely required and these are charged at around £40, but if you are flying Air Mauritius, you can take your clubs free of charge. Various trips are available, but if you want to see the island, my advice would be to hire a taxi for the day. It will cost you around 4000 MR (roughly £80) but the beauty is that you can tailor your day to suit you. We did two trips by taxi, Port Louis and the Botanical gardens, and South west of the island were we saw the Grand Basin, Alexander falls, the Seven earths and a few other view points and falls. We also did the 5 Island boat trip (Best day of the holiday and a must if you like boats). My only negative point from our stay is that the evening entertainment is pretty limited to the main bar next to the pool and if it’s busy you will struggle to get a seat under the thatched roof especially if it’s raining. And you do get the odd shower at the time of year we went. Furthermore, the resort is a little remote so if you fancied an evening walk to a local bar or restaurant, then you will need to book a taxi. I wouldn’t advise walking the roads after dark as they are poorly lit and there are no paths. However don’t let these points put you off staying there. It truly is a beautiful resort and the positives certainly our way the negatives.

Super fantastic holiday with my wife. Spent 10 days here at the end of June and loved every minute. June in Mauritius is winter time, but for Europeans, its like summer! Still high 20's and sunny most of the time. We had one rainy day. Resort is stunning, right on a beautiful beach. Food in all restaurants is so good, staff are all really friendly and helpful. Drinks are brought to you wherever you are, from the bar right down to the far end of the beach. Cocktails are very good, but you may become addicted to the vanilla rum! Rooms are large and comfortable with a massive bed that was so comfortable. Fridge stocked daily with water, soft drinks, beer and chocolate! Only slight gripe was the fact there are no opening windows in the room. This was a bit of a problem for us, being on the ground floor as we couldnt leave our patio door open at night. The rooms are air conditioned but we prefered fresh sea breeze air, especialy as it wasn't hot at night, but fresh air would have been welcome. You really must take the "Five Islands" boat trip, and book with Chris. You'll find him on the beach, by the bout house or around the pool. Absolutely fantastic! We did this on our second day and spent the remainder of our holiday with the wonderful people we met on this trip. (this is where we developed our addiction to vanilla rum, as it flows freely throughout the day!!) If you want to take an Island tour, use a taxi from within the resort. We made the mistake of booking through our rep. Taxi service will take you wherever you want to go and wait for you before going on to next location of your choice. Also will be cheaper than the tour we booked. We did see all the sights we wanted to, but also a few no one was interested in! ...Like sitting in a supermarket car park for half an hour at the end of the day, when we should have been back at the hotel 2 hours ago! Everyone we met said the same about the Ambre Mauritius and their holiday there. ......... Absolutely best ever!!

We had the most amazing honeymoon in Ambre Mauritius.. Staff were amazing in the hotel from the restaurant staff to the bar staff and the people who looked after our room, we can’t Thankyou all enough.. The Beach Boys and the water activity staff made our honeymoon even better, friendly and excellent service. Thanks also to Chris on the beach for our trips which were out of this world! Can’t recommend highly enough… Beautiful people and beautiful place! Paradise Thankyou to all staff for an amazing stay we will definitely recommend and return x

Celebration holiday booked through British Airways, the resort is situated in the north east of the island, inland slightly that ensures the breeze is kept to a minimum. The facilities are great, highlights were the spa, Emily gives an excellent facial, and the beach bar staff, Nik was attentive, eager to help, astonishingly they are human algorithms as they use the knowledge of what you have ordered and make cocktails to suit your palate! Particular staff members that need a special mention are Ben, Kevin and Anusha, amazing customer service and gave me excellent help with my Gluten Free diet. The island is beautiful and any trip to see it will not be a disappointment but if all you see is this resort you have witnessed a great thing!

This has been our 10th stay although we gpt time for others. Ambre is simply the best Our room booked is unavailable and the hotel staff have gone out of their way to make things rightmpleasant,cheerful and homely The House keepong managent from mr Emmambocus to Chef Calwoa from the Bar to the room ,the beach facilities are Simply awesome. and the whole staff was up on there feet while working around which i used to obersve when sitting in lobby right from top to bottom were doing there work. All were simply great and more causy There's a reason why all the affluent mauritian and internationals frequent this hotel to- wine , dine, stay peacefully with love ones and or in family for the vacation. or even business . There's no better place .

We had a night stay in the Ambre after a 3 night stopover visit to Dubai. Staff are lovely throughout the resort and really want to help make your stay enjoyable. Rooms and decor are a bit tired but very spacious and kept clean. Wide variety of food in the 3 restaurants and well prepared. Waiting staff very hospitable. A few well behaved dogs float around the site (not in the restaurants). I think they are 'rescues' and they have collars and are fed by the hotel, a lovely addition appreciated by most guests I think. There are a few mosquitos so take your repellent cream. Most of the water activities are free to guests. We had goes on the pedalos, kayaks, snorkelling trips etc which were all good fun. You should definitely do the snorkelling around the coral reef. We did a couple of external trips around the island (5 island speedboat trip, South island tour including rum factory) through our Kuoni rep which we would also recommend. Would recommend this hotel if you choose to visit Mauritius.

Went to Ambre Mauritius on an all-inclusive basis from 04 June to 05 June 2023. First of all, I would like to thank Ms C. Borbaud from Sunlife Reservations. She was very professional and helpful in booking the room for us. On our Reservation Confirmation, the check-in time was 14hr. My wife and I reached Ambre Resort at 14:20. We sat down at the Lobby and were offered a nice greenish welcoming drink which was so refreshing and smooth-like texture. We had to wait approx. 30 min as the room was not ready. Some other people were waiting as well. A staff showed us our room and our luggage & bags were already inside, which was a nice thing. We had a Deluxe Sea-facing Terrace/Balcony room which was very spacious, pleasantly set-up, we liked the bathroom configuration and had a beautiful view of the beach/sea. One little thing we did not like was that they used two beds to create one large bed. At first, we did not notice the illusion as there is a large white bed sheet and a large bed cover. It's only when we went to sleep that we realised that there were actually two normal-sized bed: therefore two mattresses next to eachother to create a king-size bed. The issue here is that we could feel the gap in the middle (between the two mattresses) and it was not really comfortable to have this gap in the middle of the bed. We had to move onto one side of the 'bed' to sleep well. Thus, we used only half of the bed space to sleep. We could have filled the middle gap with extra towels or bed sheets but we were already tired and only wanted to sleep. Afternoon tea/coffee and cakes were yummy at the Coral Bar. Those cakes were exquisitely delicious. The dinner was a special one for us as it was our wedding anniversary. The open buffet had an amazingly vast array of food. There were various types of cuisine and they were all mouth-watering. We savoured this delightful dinner at the Indigo Restaurant and were surprised to see a waiter bringing a beautiful anniversary cake for us with the candles. We wish to thank Mr Kishan and Ms Priyanka for their excellent service and professionalism during our dinner. They had this special "human-touch" in their approach which brings warmth and comfort. Afterwards, we enjoyed the end of the night at the Coral Bar. It was a lovely night with a good singer and his band as entertainment. The barmen were really quick and well-organised, especially Mr Bhavish who offered a perfect service. Tasty cocktails. Quite a wide range of cocktails & mocktails is available. It would have been great to have more milky alcohol Cocktails in the all-inclusive package with coffee/chocolate liqueur/coconut rhum (Cream liqueur cocktails instead of a glass of chocolate liqueur only). We visited La Plage Restaurant and Dolce Vita Restaurant but finally chose to have our lunch at the Indigo Restaurant. We tried two drinks at the Ti-Bar but we preferred the ones at the Coral Bar. For example, the Piña Colada is better at Coral Bar, compared to the one at Ti-Bar which lacked a bit of texture. We had a warm greeting again at Indigo Restaurant the following day, especially from Ms Girishma who was always polite with an agreeable smile and offered a good service - I don't remember if it was during the breakfast or lunch (or both). We were happy to benefit from a late check out, which is exceptionally done as per Hotel's availability and other factors. Nevertheless, when checking out, we disliked that we had to sit down and wait a few minutes in the lobby due to a technical issue in their computerised system - the front-desk lady said that she was not able to see that we had made a deposit before coming to the hotel. It was a bit contradictory because the Reservations staff had already told me that: "Please note that the hotel has well confirmed the deposit and the remaining amount will be paid at the hotel directly." And when we checked-in at Ambre, the staff has acknowledged the deposit and we did our remaining payment during the check-in itself. Therefore, for the check-out, we only have to return the room's door card and leave. We waited for the lady to check on her system at the Reception and then it was Ok. Maybe they should update their system to show all information and details clearly. To sum up, we surely recommend Ambre Hotel to anyone looking for a good Resort with lots of varieties of food, different types of cuisines are available, cuisines from different parts of the World, accompanied with cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks (mocktails etc). We had an amazing stay at ambre and enjoyed the excellent service of Mr Kishan & Bhavish and Ms Priyanka and Girishma. All of this would not have been possible without the invaluable help of Ms Borbaud who has been the key for our reservation. We are grateful to all of them for this unforgettable and idyllic experience.

Honest 2week stay Review -Ambre Resort

The best thing about the experience in Ambre Resort is the staff! They were all super helpful & so accommodating to us! To mention a few in particular: Deepak & Raj on reception sorted out a really nice room change for us and we’re so nice to deal with! Our first room had some minor issues and they straight away moved us to a lovely room no hassle caused! Nalini & Geetan in the spa gave us a lovely massage & I had a fab pedicure. The spa is beautiful. The coral bar is good fun with a wide selection of drinks! We had morning coffee there each morning. The team there Soobhash & Siham took such good care of us from morning until night! The entertainment is always good especially the Mauritian themed night! The guys work so hard in the Tiki Bar and beach a big thank you to Preetan & Jay! They make great coconut water cocktails. Breakfast & Lunch in the Indigo buffet was always very welcoming especially Brinda & Akash who always greeted us with a smile The La Plage restaurant restaurant on the beach was really nice for dinner one evening! The team made the experience very special. The resort has an excellent beach with lots of water sports & places to relax! The pool is really nice too! Plenty of sunloungers. We were pleasantly surprised at how good the weather was for winter -roughly 25c most days! The only changes we would make to the resort is some updates to the modernise the bedrooms and main area toilets, update the cocktail menu with less cocktails but better more premium cocktails & possibly improving the quality of the ingredients used in the dishes in the buffet! Less is more! I think simple small changes would make a big difference to improving this to a 5star resort! However the resort is very clean, very well maintained & the gardening and cleaning teams are excellent and work so so hard! Overall we recommend coming here, it’s been a pleasant stay & the most welcoming people work here!

Ambre a bit of paradise

I went with an open mind after reading negative reviews about the rooms and food! Well I didn't need to.the bed was the most comfortable bed...the shower was amazing with plenty of hot water..yes you have to wait a bit for the water..the food in the restaurants was beatuiful and that was in all the restaurants..not sure why people are moaning to be honest!! We did the 5 island with chris and as everyone says yesss it's an amazing day..we saw monkeys.giant turtles.dolphines.starfish.fruitbats..and more..we also booked a taxi at the ambre hotel they have a desk inside by the shop.we went to the south island and north island with them..the taxi driver was amazing took us were we wanted to go and more I would definitely recommend using them! The beach and hotel are beatuiful and clean..the staff always have a smile!but I have to give a shout out to Ben in the evening restaurant what a pleasant young man always with a smile..Jay who served our drinks on the beach always with a smile! He always had our drinks ready for us, even if we were in the sea.What an amazing guy a credit to the hotel!.kate on the afternoon beach dinner..always had our drinks ready with a smile a pleasant young lady. Siham on the evening bar...what a guy hard working and made sure our glasses were never empty this guy is amazing and a credit to the hotel! These people wow us during our stay with there customers service! As I work in hospitality myself! Ambre is just a beatuiful place made better by beatuiful staff.

Gorgeous beach

Stunning beach, great location, staff very friendly and helpful. Pool, bar, restaurants all lovely. An abundance of food with lots of dietary choice. I’m vegan and there were multiple options at each meal. Delicious. There are no dietary/allergens information set out with each dish. This would be extremely useful, as the alternative was to ask the chefs every dish at every meal. Rooms- we had a large ground floor room next to all of the amenities as requested as my mother has walking difficulties. It was very large and spacious. Beds were super comfortable. Bathroom had a large walk in shower and the toilet was separate. Our room attendant Ram was excellent. However, while the room was spotless, they are tired and well over due an uplift. Fittings were lose, tile grouting in bathroom and furniture tired and in need of some investment. This didn’t hinder our holiday but I feel the rooms were 3 star hotel at best. Spa was excellent, we had a lovely massage, hotel prices so expensive though. The ladies at the spa were super friendly and very experienced. Highly recommend.

Service better than a 5 star

We were welcomed by Tirouven from the Front Desk, he was efficient, welcoming, professional, he summed up maximum information about our stay in less time. We saw him every evening across the hotel with a smile until thw last day. The coral bar staff are welcoming, quick and serve you good cocktail. No delay in approaching you and made sure you have something to drink. Special thanks to Mari Anna. She makes you comfortable, like you are her guests and her place. Always asking about your preferences and made sure she go get it for you. She served all the guests around us, this way. We felt warm welcomed with her by the pool. She is an asset. Ram had our room refilled and clean. Though the rooms looks bit old, it was well maintained and clean. The room service were quick to refill our water upon our calls. The french cut bearded guy on the beach service was professional, smiling, efficient. With his 2 younger colleagues, we felt very well taken care of on our sunbeds. Chef Kallooa, we were impressed by his humility and service, during busy lunch he was there making the rotis himself to serve the guest. Am not sure if this was the fnb manager or restaurant manager, but this person was always present during breakfast and lunch to check on service, the guest were taken care of. Our only deception was the Italian restaurant, we not sure if you do have an Italian chef. But it certainly did not had the speciality italian cuisine taste. However the staff there were hardworking, efficient and professional. Your staff is one of the best we have met so far. The best thing we remember about Ambre. Thank you. Mrs Fanny

Worst hotel we have ever been to! Don't waste your hard earned money.

We stayed at this hotel in May 2023 ,it was the worst place we have ever been to. It coat us nearly £ 7,000 The rooms of wich we changed 3 times ,we're dirty ,tired mice in the dining room, wild dogs everywhere. Even in the pool, wich was filthy .birds in dining room pooing on the tables . We couldn't wait to get home as some of the other guests we spoke to felt the same! Oh and there were cockroachs in most rooms . Drinks awful and and food all tasted the same, if any left you got in in something else or at Breakfast.it was supposed to be a holiday of a lifetime. It was the worst one we have ever had. They didn't give you bottle water they expected you to refill a glass bottles (unhygienic) .

You cannot fault anything at this resort. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean, the location is unbelievable, scenery breathtaking. Staff cannot do enough, food is amazing and entertainment fabulous! Special shout out to the spa at ambre... the manager and her team are amazing. The treatments are so relaxing and enjoyable, you won't want to leave!! You have to try it for yourself... trust me you won't be disappointed!!

My wife and I had only gone there for a meal, and I must say that our first impressions were just fantastic. We were graciously welcomed by the security guards and guided to park our car. We were then welcomed by the FO team with cold towels and accompanied to the bar. We had an aperitif and the bar team ensured a top-notch service. We had dinner at Indigo restaurant, with excellent food and a very good presentation. The service team was always present with a smile making sure that we enjoyed each moment till our departure with attention to detail. A big thank you to all of you.

We went there just to relax and be out of the daily routine of work. We were welcome so nicely starting from the main gate, to the reception & different restaurants aswell. At the reception Miss Karuna was so kind to give us all the explanation needed with the hotel tour and we also got an unexpected upgrade aswell. The room was fresh and clean. At the Bar everyone was so polite in taking care of our request. As an italian point of view the `Italian restaurant `- Dolce Vita was delicious that we had to do the `scarpetta`. The staff at the SPA also are so kind. Mrs Geetah was very gentle and patient with my face waxing , meanwhile Mrs Clina did a relaxing massage that went super well (the scalp and body massage was choosen, we do recommend her if you are going there) . At TiBar the coconut water was super delicious and sweet. The boathouse staff also were so friendly , our pedalo activity went so well. The beach towels were super soft and smooth. Only few suggestions for the future from our point of view, 1. To have small ashtrays instead of the big ones, 2. To have small snacks like olives and nuts even during the day Overall, All went good, we checked out being all relaxed and ready to resume work. Greetings to everyone🖤 ❤️💛 🦤 ❤️💙💛💚

Thank you for an amazing 11 nights in Ambre! The hotel is the most welcoming place I’ve ever stayed, with the following staff deserving a special mention - Davisen in Dolce Vita restaurant who made us feel like royalty with his attentive and professional service (the food was also amazing and non-all inclusive wine very well priced), Jay who kept the drinks flowing on the beach, Brinda in the Indigo restaurant who made sure we were well looked after every breakfast and Michael & Emilie in the Coral Bar who ensured the cocktails kept coming every evening! The extensive beach, clear blue sea and the numerous free activities kept us entertained in between the many hours of ‘winter’ sun. The hotel itself is well laid out and welcoming, although the rooms are a little tired……however, a major refurbishment programme is underway and we were shown a completed room that was great! I would recommend this hotel and look forward to returning as soon as possible!

A fantastic experience staying here, The team at the Ambre can't do enough for you. The food is superb and at all the restaurants, in the unlikely evenf that you want something different, you only need to ask. We visited as a family of 5 ( with out children 2 at 18 years and 1 at 20 years old) and there was something for everyone whether food, entertainment, beach/water activities. The beach is stunning and where the hotel is set back in the bay it has by far the softest sand along that stretch of sea front. The staff are friendly and fun with the right balance of professionalism, They all go above and beyond but look out for Emilie and Michael at the Coral bar, Jay on the beach, Brinda at Indego and Davisen at Dolce Vita. These awesome people really are special and make this 4 star hotel a 5 star experience . Simply brilliant and would highly recommend

Disgusting,don't waste your money

On arrival 3rd May 2023 was asked to take a seat on the dirty reception seats.Not a good start.The room,a "superior sea view",was blocked by a palm tree. It was dirty,had pigeon excrement on the balcony and a wasps nest in the roof. The bar by the pool had a poor selection of beers,& all the seating was tired or dirty!. Cracked paving slabs around the pool. Night life/entertainment was poor. The pictures on the website shows a fabulous hotel,but there from when it first opened. The reality is that it's dated dilapidated & dirty & needs an update. There were wild dogs 🐕 running around and even in the pool!!! The food in the "indigo " restaurant was very bland,& if you didn't eat what was on the menu at breakfast you'd get it in your lunch,or dinner. Water was dished out in one plastic bottle which you were expected to use/top up for the entirety of your trip. Mice were also spotted by more than one guest in the indigo bar/restaurant!! Beach was lovely,& I reccomend the five islands trip,with Jack sparrow but that was all. This hotel is dated & needs a complete re-fit. PLEASE Don't waste your money. Evening entertainment was very dull,& boring. Definitely not worth getting dressed up for. All the seats around the bars including the new Ti bar had tired or broken chairs. We paid nearly £7000 for 3 weeks & can honestly say I've had a better experience in a 2* plus self catering apartment in Cyprus. This was supposed to be a holiday of a lifetime,but we were so disappointed. Needless to say we will never ever be going back!!

Not worth a 4-star hotel! Very deceiving experience!

So we booked 3 rooms for a friends' special getaway. The check-in process was quite OK, with well-groomed staff. On the positive side, the staff is really nice, well-spoken, friendly and helpful. But that's the end of it! When we were sent to our rooms, it was a shock for us to be sent to the last rooms of the hotel - where the rooms are being renovated. But we were still given rooms in that renovated block - the rooms are old, dirty, not maintained at all and were even stinking moisture. First sight when getting into our blocks were snail dropping on the walls! The rooms are really old, with cracky doors. The toilet is miniature, with no aeration. So we understand why the are renovating the rooms around - but still we were sent to stay there. At the bar, there are no quality drinks at all - very low cost alcohol is being used for the cocktails, which is deceptive for a 4 star. For the dinner buffet, it was not an amazing experience at all. We came some years ago, and the food was of a very good level and this was why we wanted to experience this again with the friends. But this time, this was of a very low quality - not a single seafood item was offered, whilst we are surrounded by the ocean! So apart from the welcoming staff, we did not have any positive feedback out of this stay. This is very very deceptive for a 4 star hotel and so much different from our past experiences here!

It has been an incredible delight at Ambre hotel. From the welcoming with Miss Karishma, booking with Mr Vikesh, Deena & Davisen from the restaurant, Preetam from the pool to Michael at the Coral Bar. We couldn't ask for more. Ambre has a beautiful & CLEAN beach with great views. Amazing hotel pool close to the bar with great service. Indigo restaurant had a lovely buffet with amazing dishes. Our wedding anniversary cake was served that day by Miss Anusha. Our favorite restaurant remains the Dolce Vita. This italian restaurant provides some world class dishes. Perfectly cooked beef filet, pastas and tasty starters. Not to forget the top qualified experienced staffs this restaurant has. Special mention to our waiter Arvin. Thank you for making our dining experience memorable and enjoyable. Deena and Davisen on the other hand were very professional and helpful. Our room was top notch! Everything was perfect. Thank you dear Visambal for the cleanliness. Overall, Ambre hotel has been the best getaway from our busy daily routine for us. As a hotelier myself, you guys rock!! We will definitely be back very soon and recommends to friends and family. Good job

My stay was for my wedding anniversary. I really enjoyed the treatment we got there. I would like to thank the bar team Mr Hevin, miss Emilie, Mrs Brenda,miss Bhavna for the wonderful time and special cocktails, also the food was amazing. The room clean and warm. Dolce vita restaurant food was suberb with welcoming staff Mr. Davissen, Sid and Arvind who did a great job. Tea time was so nice. Dinner was wow at indigo restaurant.. one staff who helped us so much during our stay was Mr Vikesh.. would definitely recommend ambre hotel.
