Nusa Dua is a luxury destination known for its 5-star resorts. The area offers white sand beaches, fine dining (or beach grills for a more local experience), a golf course, and shopping destinations as well as water sports including jetskiing, parasailing, banana boat rides and scuba diving.
The area also has plenty of natural and cultural attractions. The limestone blow hole and 240-degree vista at Water Blow can be seen up close, or viewed from some nearby hotels. Relax and swim in the calm waters of Geger Beach, which is public access unlike many of the resort-owned beaches in the area. To the south of the beach you will find Pura Gegar – climb a short path from the beach to see this decorative temple and its surrounding views.
Nusa Dua means “two islands”, and you can visit its tiny namesake islands, Peninsula Island and Nusa Dharma, each crowned with a temple. It is also worth visiting Puja Mandala, Nusa Dua’s Hill of Worship, with a holy site for each of Bali’s main religions – a Buddhist temple, Hindu temple, Catholic church, Protestant church, and an Islamic mosque. The Pasifika Museum houses Indochinese and Polynesian art and history.
